Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Why should I spend my hard-earned cash on this book?

A. Download and read it in PDF form to answer that for yourself. If you don't like what you see, don't bother. Can't say fairer than that now can I?

Q. Is this the full book?

A. Yes.

Q. You mean I can download the full book, read it all and pay nothing?

A. Yes. Obviously I'd prefer if you chose to buy it thereafter, but I hope you enjoy it nonetheless. Let me know what you think.

Q. Like, why?

A. If you don't think it's worth the asking price then I'd rather you didn't waste your money. I happen to think it's a book that people will want to own in a proper format. But if you just want to download, print and read it (or read it from a screen), by all means you're welcome. I hope you enjoy it and maybe you might recommend it to some friends.

Q. Can I order this book through my local bookstore?

A. Yes. Any bookstore can supply this book.
Just bring along the following ISBN number and they should have it in a couple of weeks.

    ISBN 1-4120-3364-0

Q. Why is it so damn expensive?

A. This is a self-published book, printed by www.trafford.com
The price is as cheap as is possible for this book to be, printed in this manner. I'd prefer if it was cheaper so more people might buy it, but that's another reason for the free download -see for yourself if you think it's worth it.
And besides, it's not that expensive. Get a grip!

Q. So you couldn't get it published properly then?

A. The short answer is yes -I couldn't get it published by a "traditional publishers".
I tried for a while. Despite some nice rejection notices nobody would even read the book. It's a jungle out there I tells ya. They'll allow you to send them one or two chapters (if you're lucky) and they'll politely tell you get stuffed (three months later) if it's not a part of "what is currently selling". I don't blame them. Publishing is a risky business with high outlays. The High Kicking Kung Fu Soccer Playing Bunny Rabbit Tree doesn't really fit into any category that I can think of. Why should anyone pay a high amount of money upfront when it's of such unknown value?

Q. So you're hoping to get it published properly sometime in the future?

A. I am actually very happy to be able to retain control over the rights of the work and to be able to ensure it doesn't go out of print. It would be great to see the book sell for a fiver in supermarket aisles but I don't think that's going to happen soon. I would honestly be delighted if people thought it worth buying after sampling/reading the download.

These copies will be collectors' items one day! You know you know it!
