WHAT THEY SAY...

good book. The characters are very well defined even though its mostly
about Arth.
-Derek, Manchester

I liked the prologue but soon got bored with the rest. You should have stuck
with Caroline and Bohburk and the work story. That was real people doing
real work. The rest of the book is about a loser who does nothing. Showed
potential. 3/5
-FisherKing, unknown.

I wasn't sure before but now I'm positive. THis is the best book I've ever
read. You could red it 10 times and still find new things in it and new ways
to look at it. It changes with every read.
-Trebor.

There is no coherent plot and no character arcs at play here. I don't know
what to call this collection of tales but it ain't a novel.
-anon.

This book starts out great but inevitably winds its way to a sad and

pointless end. I liked the ending itself even though it didn't end how

I imagined it would, but the rest is all pointless. What is it about? I

have no idea. Arth does nothing. He minds the kids but generally

he just ignores them. His wife works all day and has troubles of

her own but comes home to him every day. I would have left him

years ago. He just sits there for the whole book doing nothing.

He has some good thoughts I have to admit but he doesn't share

them with anyone so that just adds to how pathetic he is.

There are too some very offensive and vulgar parts throughout. I

don't think personal sexual thoughts and toilet behaviour belong

in a proper work of literary fiction. So obviously this is not literature.

- Sandy Kossingham, UK.

This is a real book and made me realise I haven't seen writing of this
high a standard for a very long time. Thanks.
-Daniel Shelly, MA.

Too rude. Too offensive. Stick to the day job -whatever that is.
- Bill, unknown.

What a breath of fresh air this book is. At last someone who tells
it like he sees it. Some of the thoughts are hilarious, some mundane,
all extremely interesting even if theyre mostly about "nothing". I will
never think of "nothing" in the same way again.
By the way what does the title signify? There are no rabbit trees in
there  ?
- TexanTex, USA.

I didn't like the bad language in the book. Many parts are very nicely
written but I notice there is little or no bad language near the start of
the book. Its like the author ran out of things to say so started cussing
just to fill in the blanks. Had potential but I stopped reading when all
those erections started.

What are people talking about? This is clearly far and away a better-written
book than anything available anywhere else. They just don't write books like
this anymore (if ever). There is so much going on here it's impossible to
take it all in at one reading.
It's still hilariously written though. Well worth the asking fee.
I particularly love Arth's plan to rare his children dressed in a gorilla
costume and being buried in it. The Tellytubbies is explained at last and I
must say I agree TOTALLY that is what it is clearly about. The meaning of
life was upstaged by "the meaning of nothing" which I found much more
interesting and poignant. Arth is a bit of an idiot, but that's the whole
point. He's no better nor worse than anyone else but this book is far better
than everything else -especially those awful books people bring on holidays
with them these days. this is a REAL BOOK
- Ted O'Mahoney, unknown

I WOULD PLEAD WITH ANYONE DOWNLOADING THIS BOOK
TO HAVE A LOOK THROUGH IT BEFORE BUYING. THIS IS A
GOOD BOOK MAYBE EVEN MY FAVOURITE OF ALL TIME. BUT
ITS NOT FOR EVERYBODY. THERE ARE PARTS WITH STRONG
LANGUAGE AND IDEAS AND NOTIONS THAT ARE NOT FOR
THE FAINT-HEARTED. AS AN IRISHMAN I CAN RELATE TO A
LOT OF IT PERSONALLY. THERES TOO MUCH RUBBISH OUT
THERE AND THERES NOTHING WE CAN DO ABOUT IT.
"I'M 35 YEARS OLD AND LOVE TO SHIT!!!" HA HA HA.
ACTUALLY I'M 25 BUT THATS WHATS IN THE BOOK
- Frank Murphy, Dun Laoighre

I;ve downloaded this book and have just ordered a copy
i think a work like this needs to be held and read as you would a real book
this is a real book and must be read as such
- Eileen O'Carroll, Cork

Some people on hear need to get a life. I like the title but it has nothing
to do with the book. This book is about nothing. End-of-story.
- unknown, unknown.

This book discusses what "nothing" means a lot, but it is not all about
nothing. It made me think about a lot of things all the way through. I
didn't agree with everything and I almost cheered out loud ***SPOILER
AHEAD***... when Caroline got her revenge on Arth and left him. That was a
long time coming but still he had his moments. :)
The ending too is brilliant. ***ANOTHER MILD SPOILER AHEAD*** I felt certain
he was going to -well I don't want to spoil it any more than I have.
It was a thrilling last chapter. If you've read it you know what I mean
But my main point is how is it possible for a book to be "about nothing" and
still be so damn interesting, etntertaining and funny!? Why can't I buy this
book in my local bookshop? I'm convinced readers of proper books would lap
it up.
- Terry O', Ireland.

This book puts other books to shame.

If you look closely all the first few comments on here are totally positive
and then the real reviews kicks in and we read what people really think of
this stinker. hehehe
0 out of 10. I wouldn't waste my money on a book that can't get a deal with
a real publisher.

Whens the next one due? What is it?
 -John Ryan, Ireland

Have a download of this book. Have a read. You'll soon see its something
new. Well worth the price even though it is more expensive than normal.
I'm not saying that as an interested party or anything else -have a read for
yourself and you will see for yourself. This book *needs* to be held in your
hands to be fully appreciated. Its great to have the oppurtunity to read the
whole book in pdf form though. That took a lot of guts Im sure.

The High Kicking Kung Fu Soccer Playing Bunny Rabbit Tree is a book like
none other I've read. It begins more or less by telling us the meaning of
life itself. Then it builds up to something more than that. Arth tells us
everything in an interesting know-all type way. By the end though he
realises he "knows nothing" -and he proves this to us in a way only Arth
could.
I think this book is less about the physical things Arth does than it is
about what he is thinking at the time. Then again I'm sure people will
prefer to read it only the other way around. And it can be read that way
too.
I think Arth thinks he knows everything. In the end maybe he really does
-or at least he knows nothing.
This is probably confusing if you haven't read the book. Its confusing to me
too. As I said though, I think its possible to read and enjoy
this book without even reading of any of Arths thoughts on anythign.
-Darren, Waterford.

This is the first book I've ever read where I began reading from the start
again immediately after finishing it. And it's even better the second time
around!
 -Tracey Harrington, unknown

Towards the end of the book Arth's wife asks him what he wants from her. His
answer sums up every man I have ever known. The view of this man is not
always exactly pretty, but it is always right on the money when it comes to
capturing how a man thinks and acts and behaves. It's not always an easy
read but this book blew me away like none other.
 -Kate Desmond, London

Be warned! There are no high-kicks or kung fu or soccer-playing or bunny
rabbits in this book. There are a few trees but only in the background
really. I don't know why its called that, but I like the name and I love the
book.
 -Brian Smyth, Leeds

This doesn't feel like one book, but instead its more like 4 or 5 books all
crammed together in a thick word soup. Very nourishing in every way.
 -Steven Scott, London

I want to kick this guy in the ass. Doing nothing is not something to be
recommnded but something to be avoided.
-David Berly, NY

hi liked the book
